Miss Universe Gets Glamorous for a Good Cause with YMI Jeanswear

How do the gorgeous ladies of Miss Universe get ready for a fabulous night out? Well, start with an amazing wardrobe from YMI Jeans, add a mansion in Beverly Hills and wa-la!

No stranger to the world of gifting, YMI Jeans pulled out all the stops for the ladies of Miss Universe on July 9th. Creating a custom “denim bar” to treat all of the ladies, each contestant in the 2006 competition received a YMI tank top, signature denim bag and a selection of YMI jeans. What a way to start a weekend! The ladies tried on jeans and posed for cameras at The Wilshire Grand hotel in downtown Los Angeles and were interviewed on camera about what they love about YMI Jeans. From Miss Mexico to Miss Peru, across the world to Miss China and Miss Korea, Miss United Kingdom and Miss Israel and back again with Miss USA and Miss Universe, every girl got her perfect pair of jeans and then some!

On July 10th, with each girl dressed and gorgeous in her complete outfit from YMI Jeans, the ladies headed to the famous Grove shopping center in the heart of Los Angeles where they ate at celebrity haven La Piazza and waved to guests from the second-story balcony. The girls sported complete YMI outfits and posed for camera crews from all over the world as shoppers looked on. Later that same evening, off again they went to a private mansion in the exclusive Beverly Park community of Beverly Hills. The mansion featured a pool, game room, bowling alley and even a volleyball court where the ladies let loose and played a few rounds as the DJ played the hottest music in the background. The event benefited the Make-A-Wish foundation and several Make-A-Wish children who had dreamt of meeting Miss Universe were in attendance. Celebrities like Chris Judd also joined in on the fun and chatted it up with this global group of girls. To close out the fantastic evening, trapeze artists performed above the jacuzzi for all of the guests, closing out the evening on a (literally) high note!
