Hollywood, CA – What a night for fashion and beauty! YMI Jeanswear was front and center for the biggest beauty pageant in the United States: the Miss USA 2007 Pageant. LIVE from the Kodak Theatre at the famous Hollywood and Highland crossroads, the pageant went off flawlessly, just like the beauties themselves! YMI Jeanswear, the “Official Denim” of the 2007 Miss USA, Miss Universe and Miss Teen USA Pageants, could be seen during the telecast as Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner modeled her YMI jeans and signature tank top in the televised presentation of the winner’s prize package. The winner, Miss Tennessee, Rachel Smith, will receive a YMI national and international multi-media advertising campaign and a complete denim wardrobe from YMI Jeanswear. YMI is thrilled for Rachel and her momentous win!

The star-studded event featured a celebrity judging panel that any young beauty queen would be excited about! Headlining the celebrity-judging panel were Vince Young; NFL Quarter-back for the Tennessee Titans; Bravo's "Blowout" star, Jonathan Antin; Los Angeles Lakers owner and real estate tycoon Dr. Jerry Buss; E! News Co-Host Giuliana De Pandi; MTV's "Total Request Live" VJ and "Entertainment Tonight" Correspondent Vanessa Minnillo; President and Creative Director of Baby Phat, Kimora Lee Simmons; Jerry Springer, host of NBC's hit show "America's Got Talent" and Corinne Nicolas, President of Trump Model Management.

As part of her win, Rachel will act as spokesperson for YMI throughout her reign as she travels around the country and the world, donning the hottest product from YMI Jeans. YMI is looking forward to Rachel’s YMI advertising campaign premiering later this year and rooting her on at the Miss Universe 2007 competition from Mexico City, Mexico on May 28th 2007.
