FEATURING ACTRESS AIMEE TEEGARDEN
YMI Jeanswear is proud to announce actress Aimee Teegarden as the first celebrity face for the YMI brand for the Fall 2008 advertising campaign. Having made her name in entertainment playing “Julie Taylor” in NBC’s Emmy® nominated television series, “Friday Night Lights”, she embodies the excitement and talent of young Hollywood.
Shot on location at The Rooftop Bar at The Standard Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, photographer Odessy Barbu captured the dynamic skyscrapers and panoramic views of the city skyline. Capturing the essence of the back-to-school season the campaign sets the mood of a late summer’s day at the end of a young girl’s summer vacation. The stunning panoramic views of Downtown Los Angeles cityscape combine with vibrant colors of the rooftop pool and red lounges, makes for a gorgeous display of a day in the city.
Commenting on her role as spokesmodel, Aimee states “YMI is a brand I feel I can really relate to. Their jeans are fashionable, fit great and appeal to teens like me.” Aimee will make special appearances on behalf of the brand as well as host their annual Hollywood fashion show and after-party in October 2008.

The best contest would most definitely be one that grants the winner the ability to select for themselves a certain dollar amount's worth of YMI Jeans apparel with Miss USA (Rachel Smith), Miss Universe (Riyo Mori), and Miss Teen USA (Hilary Cruz) acting as style consultants for that winner. Even if the amount of awarded free merchandise was nominal, a day spent shopping with the women from the Miss Universe Organization would be very memorable for anyone.

YMI Celebrity Fans...
The fabulous Kaci Brown stopped by the YMI offices for a fit session and posed for the cameras as she shared tracks from her upcoming album. Kaci took home a YMI wardrobe perfect for winter and the upcoming spring season, including new YMI shorts, skirts and jeans. Kaci’s got quite a career ahead of her and YMI is thrilled to be along for the ride!

What are the Beauty Queens up to now?
This month, YMI checked in with your favorite beauty queens to take a peek behind the scenes of the pageant world. They've been hard to miss recently as Miss USA Rachel Smith, Miss Universe Riyo Mori, Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner and Miss Teen USA 2006 Katie Blair grace MTV every Wednesday night with their hit reality show Pageant Place. Busy with interviews and photo shoots for some of the hottest magazines on newsstands today, the girls have been traveling the globe in style, YMI style, that is. Miss Teen USA Hilary Cruz will be featured in the 2008 CosmoGirl! Prom Issue and Miss Universe Riyo Mori can be seen gracing the pages of Marie Claire this spring. Earlier this month, you may have seen the girls alongside Donald Trump in their interview with In Touch magazine talking about the excitement of filming Pageant Place. With a whirlwind month like this, it must be tiring to be a beauty queen! But glamorous and exciting, nonetheless.
