Holiday 2007 Campaign Features Miss Universe, Miss USA,
Miss Teen USA

Los Angeles, CA – On Wednesday, September 5, 2007 YMI Jeanswear will shoot its Holiday 2007 advertising campaign at famed Miau Haus Studios on La Brea Avenue. The campaign will be photographed by acclaimed photographer George Holz. The models for the campaign will be Miss Universe Riyo Mori, Miss USA Rachel Smith and Miss Teen USA Hilary Carol Cruz. The campaign will capture the excitement and exhilaration of “backstage access.” Destined for billboards and print ads, Holz’ trained eye will capture a “sneak peak” of the models backstage as if preparing for the glitz and glam of an on-stage performance.

Grammy Award-winning photographer George Holz has created nearly two decades of work known for being "striking," "sensuous," "nuanced," and "unexpected." Holz's celebrity portraiture for magazines cast a wide net, capturing personalities from Jack Nicholson to Paris Hilton, and Donald Trump to Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. His willingness to push limits is one he credits to an influential early apprenticeship with the late Helmut Newton. The clarity of his vision has caught the attention of diverse advertising agencies, netting him campaigns including a Clio Award-winning series for the International Gold Corporation and work for DeBeers Diamonds, L’Oreal Cosmetics, Wrigley’s, Nike, and Max Factor. This is Holz’s first campaign for YMI Jeanswear.

Another first made by YMI and the Miss Universe Organization with this campaign is that it will be the first ever national and international advertising campaign featuring all three Miss Universe titleholders. Showing off the hottest holiday season looks from YMI Jeanswear’s three clothing lines, YMI Royalty, YMI Premium and YMI From the City of Angels, the models will be shot both individually and together to capture the essence of the underlying theme of the campaign, “YMI Presents Beauty.”

The campaign will be released in October 2007 and can be seen in magazines such as Seventeen, CosmoGirl!, Teen Vogue, OK!, WWD, Cosmopolitan En Espanol and LouLou. Billboards featuring the campaign are located in Los Angeles and Times Square, New York City.
